Steve's interest in photography was first piqued by the picturesque setting of small neighbourhood shops an Italian section of New York where he was born. He later studied photography formally at the Fashion Institute of Technology. After graduating, Steve assisted several fashion photographers in New York and Europe, shooting ads for renowned fashion magazines. While assisting many photographers who were at the time, making the transition into commercials, Steve himself fell in love with the freedom of film. He began working as a DOP, working in tabletop with various directors in the U.S. and around the world, eventually taking on the challenge of directing himself. Steve now stands among the best tabletop directors, specializing in liquid pours and photosonics. |
